A Judgemental Tapestry

After studying artist Anastasiya Kimachenko, I have created my expressionist facial paintings using my own photography. I then began to sublimation print these paintings onto fabric and stitch into them using wool as well as painting on top of the fabric too. For 'A Judgemental Tapestry' I planned the piece composition using a smaller piece of fabric and I practised embroidery on smaller canvases. I named this piece 'judgemental' because when I look at the faces I feel that they're judging me as they're looking at each other in discontent. This piece has been selected for the Royal Academy of Arts London Summer Show 2020! I'm very proud.
